OnlineJourno PolicyWatch turns the fragmented public record of Indian policy-making — Parliament, ministries, regulators, standing committees and NITI Aayog — into a daily brief a policy desk can trust. Not a rewrite of the news: the source itself, before it is news anywhere.
Why it exists
The commodity layer — summarising the day's headlines — is collapsing into the answer engines. The durable value is the primary record: what a ministry, committee or Parliament actually published, monitored systematically and read with judgement. PolicyWatch is an instrument for that record, not a headline machine.
How to read it
- Brief — the composed daily digest of what moved in the parliamentary and policy record, every item linked to its primary source.
- Archive — past editions, so you can track a theme over time.
- Sources — the registry. It privileges Parliament, PIB, ministries and committees; feeds still awaiting an adapter are shown, not hidden.
- Ledger (Phase 2, invite-only) — policy promises tracked to their outcome. Ask for access.
Honest about the preview
This is a working preview. It runs today on open feeds (PIB / PRS / Parliament RSS + GDELT); ministry portal adapters and standing-committee parsers are registered but not yet built. Briefs are composed by an AI model and carry a “not yet reviewed by an editor” note — they demonstrate the instrument, not finished editorial. The tool advises; it never decides.
